MEMBERSHIP

To be a member of the Central Texas Chapter of PRSA, professionals are required to pay both national and local dues.

To be eligible for membership, the applicant must devote a substantial portion of time to the paid professional practice of public relations or the teaching or administration of public relations courses in an accredited college or university. It not currently employed, the individual must have held a prior position within the last five years or have a degree in public relations or a related field. Upon joining, members are required to adhere to the PRSA Code of Ethics.

National Membership Dues:

FULL MEMBER (M): $290 ($65 Initiation Fee and $225 Annual Dues)

ASSOCIATE: No Initiation Fees, Annual Dues as follows:
Less than 1 year's experience (AM1): $115
Less than 2 years' experience (AM2): $155

REINSTATEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP: $260
($35 Reinstatement Fee and $225 Dues)

Chapter Dues:
FULL MEMBER (M): $45
ASSOCIATE: $25
RETIRED: $25
